Volunteer Role

The type of volunteer projects that you may join include:

Teaching English in Senegal schools and villages
Helping care for orphaned babies and children
Vocational teaching such as crafts, dressmaking, batik dyeing etc.
Care for disabled children

Helping with physiotherapy, or psychotherapy

Project Location

The community volunteer projects are mainly based in Dakar, the capital of Senegal. Senegal is in West Africa.

Accommodation and Meals

Volunteers stay with local host families where they will also have meals. On some projects this may be really basic. You will however have a really authentic experience and the host families are chosen for their ability to offer a welcoming home.

Programme Summary:
You’ll have numerous schemes to choose from in this warm and wonderful country.
