This program would suit those who have medical experience or qualifications, though volunteers who don’t have this background are also welcomed to participate.   Playing an important part in the varied day to day work based at the Community Hospital, you will be helping to give medical expertise to the large community located at the southern part of Lake Malawi.

Assisting with general tasks at the hospital and helping the medical team on its mobile visits to rural local communities, you will be on hand to help give dietary and HIV/AIDS education, immunisations, advice on medical problems, and gathering information on the well being of babies and their mothers.

For those who are pursing a career, or who wish to, may want to participate with clinics during consultations and have the opportunity to learn a great deal of education about infectious and tropical diseases.
