This Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) program allows you to enjoy an Ozzie outdoor experience where you’ll learn new and challenging skills.

With this Australian Gap volunteer program, you have the chance of taking up one of the ten voluntary schemes located all over Australia.  They last from two to six weeks and are specifically aimed at conservational projects.  You are free to volunteer at a number of the locations, traveling all over Australia by doing so, and seeing its vast beautiful landscape.

The Volunteer Projects

You have the option of ten destinations all over Australia, working voluntary on conservation programs. We’ll do the best we can to get you on a variety of programs if you wish to do more than one.

Typical CVA Projects
  • Tree planting
  • Endangered species protection
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Erosion and salinity control
  • Seed collection
  • Construction and maintenance of walking tracks
  • Planting of native species
  • Habitat restoration
Treat yourself to an Australia Adventure Group Tour!
After your valuable contribution to these projects, why not go on an Australian Group Touring program and visit some of the premier sites in Australia.

Project Location

Locations include Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Newcastle, Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns.

For full listing of CVA projects please see CVA Projects

Accommodation and Meals

All related project transport, accommodation and meals are provided, so you can just get on with having a good time.  One of the great things about these programs are that you don’t need a Australian Working Holiday visa, so if you want to spend one year in this country at a later date or are over 30, you are still able to get into Australia now.
